North Texas *finally* climbed above freezing for first time in 89 hours

We finally climbed above freezing, but another blast of cold air is heading our way later this week. An arctic blast has come and gone. We finally climbed above freezing around midday Wednesday, but another blast of cold air is heading our way. 

DFW Airport warmed above freezing at noon on Wednesday for the first time since Saturday evening. When you add it up, that’s 89 hours spent at or below freezing. Nowhere close to a record, but certainly long enough to cause problems.
Thursday will be warmer and pleasant with highs closer to normal. The brief warm-up comes to an end here as Thursday afternoon brings another strong cold front knocking temps back to cold as early as Thursday night.
